 Nancy Turbak Berry founded Turbak Law Office, P.C. in 1982. The firm primarily represents individuals who need help being treated fairly by insurance companies. Our clients most often are people with claims for personal injury or wrongful death arising from motor vehicle collisions or professional malpractice.
Ms. Turbak Berry and the staff at Turbak Law Office, P.C. understands that civil disputes can be stressful and frustrating. They believe a lawyer's responsibility is to help minimize that stress and frustration by being an efficient, careful, and devoted advocate. Respecting each client's right to timely, thorough, and conscientious services, the firm strictly limits the number of clients whose cases it undertakes.
Nancy Turbak Berry is well-recognized as an experienced, effective advocate. She is a Fellow of the esteemed American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the select American Board of Trial Advocates, and a Civil Trial Specialist certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In 1997 she was chosen South Dakota Trial Lawyer of the Year. She is Past President of the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association and Past President of the South Dakota Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates.
Ms. Turbak Berry also is a Diplomat of the National College of Advocacy. She frequently donates her time to the College by serving on a faculty of its continuing education programs for trial lawyers. She has long been included in Best Lawyers in America. She is a former magistrate of the Unified Judicial System of South Dakota and a former commissioner of the State Bar of South Dakota. She chairs the Disciplinary Board of the State Bar of South Dakota.
